Our Story
I’m Umber Fatima, a textile designer and embroidery artist.
Long before Flores Ribbon Art became a brand, I was simply someone who loved making beautiful, unusual things with my hands.
During my years of study, I spent much of my free time creating handmade pieces. I experimented with different materials and techniques, but there was always something special about ribbon.
I loved the softness, movement, texture, and dimension it could bring to a simple design. I began creating my own dresses, jewellery, ribbon flowers, and other handmade pieces, always finding new ways to turn ribbon into something beautiful.
From Textile Design Back to Ribbon
As my career in textile design grew, my creative journey took me in different directions. But my love for ribbon never really left.
Eventually, I returned to ribbon embroidery — this time with a different vision.
I wanted to create something that wasn't only meaningful to me, but something I could share with people who appreciate the beauty of handmade art.
At the time, I didn't see many people in Pakistan creating and offering ribbon embroidery in the way I imagined it. That made me want to explore it even further.
So I started creating.

For me, the most rewarding part isn't only creating the artwork.
It's seeing how someone feels when they experience it.
When someone sees a piece and notices the tiny details. When they touch the embroidery and realize it is made from ribbon. When a handmade piece becomes meaningful to someone.
Those moments are incredibly special to me.
Flores Ribbon Art is my way of sharing something I've loved creating for years — and bringing the beauty of handmade ribbon art to more people.
